Sadia Obaidul
Program Director
Aldie, Virginia
Background
Sadia Obaidul began her public health journey as a community health worker, supporting low income and uninsured immigrant and refugee patients with language support, healthcare access, and basic care navigation. That experience led her into research, where she now works as a research assistant at NYU CSAAH on community-based studies focused on cardiometabolic health. As APIC’s Program Director, she hopes to ensure the diversity of AAPI communities are genuinely represented at APHA and that our sessions reflect the work happening in our communities!
